Windscreen Repairs
Most windscreens are constructed in three layers - The outside layer is glass, the middle layer, which is in most cases, is Polyvinyl Butyl (more commonly referred to simply as PVB) and the third is another glass layer.
Flying stones or other hard projectiles hitting the outside layer of the windscreen, or, stress on a vehicle - such as the twisting of the body of the motor vehicle during a motor vehicle accident are the most causes of windscreen damage.
The most common forms of damage are a crack, a star, a bull’s-eye or a combination of all of these. The NOVUS Auto Glassrepair method can fix most forms of damage within approx 30 to 60 minutes; so can get back on the road again with minimum delay and fuss.
Windscreen Replacement
If the damaged windscreen glass cannot be repaired, your NOVUS Auto Glass Service Technician will advise you and can then easily replace it if necessary. Windows, Side and Rear Glass Replacement
Unlike a windscreen, if a side or rear glass is damaged, it will need to be replaced, and cannot be repaired in the majority of cases. NOVUS Auto Glass can replace all motor vehicle glass.
